This is an outdoor photograph with good lighting in a urban area, during the day. There are four men in the picture, I am not sure of the age they are wearing suits and a hat, the men look African American, the first thing that caught my eye was the sign for the hotel and underneath the sign there is another sign that says, the best service for colored only. This photograph is taken outside of a buisness, in good condition, there is a little bit of space between the buisness and the street, the people are surrounded by buildinds and cars which are on the street. This is a heavy photo, it is heavy because there is a lot of segregation. I like this picture because it really tells you what was going on arounf this time period, for example the segregation. I want to know what the men are doing, and if the buildings they are standing near are all for only colored people.
